🌿🐑 Introducing Aki – Our Newest Adventure Camp Family Member! 🐑🌿

On Monday, July 22, we were overjoyed with a wonderful surprise: the birth of a new lamb, and we are excited to announce his name… Aki! ✨

In the Anishinaabe language, Aki means The Land, a perfect reflection of where this little one was born. Surrounded by the joy and laughter of children, we welcomed Aki to Adventure Camp with open arms. His mom, Kona, stood proudly by his side throughout the celebration, adding to the beauty of the moment.

A special thank you to Jared Big Canoe, who honored us with his words of the Anishinaabe traditions, making this day even more meaningful. His teachings brought a deeper connection to Aki’s arrival and the land we hold dear.

Aki’s arrival symbolizes new beginnings, the beauty of community, and the wonder of nature. 🌱✨ We are so excited for the adventures ahead with this little one in our camp family.
